As a freelance videographer I’m in charge of concept, offer, invoicing and then most importantly renting or buying the gear necessary for a smooth shoot. It’s a lot of coordinating between the customer’s needs, the demands of the script, technical contingencies and the precious time during the shoot. Here are two recent shoots: Both were different in scale and budget and necessitated two completely different approaches.
Dieci, opening of new pizzeria in Vevey
For this shoot we were three on the set. Amélie as mandating client and producer making sure all the footage was taken as scripted. Basit as professional DOP was in charge of recording and camera movement and I was keeping an overview of the light and time situation as well as prompting the different team members for their scenes.
Beauty institut Jad’Or in a reel
Conceived as a reel, this video for a Jasmine’s institut Jad’Or, was entirely shot with an iPhone 17 and edited on Premiere Pro.
